How Skinternal fits
in clinical practice
Designed to sit alongside existing protocols — not disrupt them.
Internal support that doesn’t interfere with what you’re already doing.
Following procedures such as skin needling, chemical peels or energy-based treatments, topical actives are intentionally reduced to support skin barrier recovery. During these windows, while external inputs are limited, internal physiological processes continue. Skinternal provides a mechanism to support these processes without interfering with post-procedure care protocols.
Formulations align with the full treatment pathway — from preparation through to recovery and ongoing maintenance — by supporting the underlying biological processes associated with skin structure, cellular function and repair.
This allows Skinternal to sit alongside existing clinical protocols without disruption, providing a consistent internal approach while external treatments are adjusted over time.
Continuous internal support across the full cycle
Supporting physiological readiness prior to procedures — ensuring the internal environment is primed for optimal treatment response.
Maintaining internal support during post-procedure phases when topical actives are reduced — sustaining the biological processes that determine treatment outcomes.
Providing ongoing internal support between treatment cycles — extending the clinical benefit and maintaining patient engagement between appointments.
How clinics access and supply Skinternal
Two structured pathways allow clinics to align supply with their preferred model of care and level of personalisation.
Clinics are provided with pre-formulated products that are held on-site and supplied to patients following recommendation by a qualified health professional. These formulations are not positioned as retail products and are intended to be integrated into clinical consultation and treatment planning.
Patients complete a structured digital intake form reviewed by a compounding pharmacist to inform a formulation specific to that patient’s treatment context, skin history and life stage. This includes a pharmacist consultation to confirm clinical details before compounding on demand — dispensed directly to the patient or via the clinic.
